News: HeppHUB

HeppHUB is a useful area of our website, which provides quick and easy signposting for schools to higher education related outreach activity from all the local providers: Sheffield Hallam University, the University of Sheffield, University Campus Barnsley, University Centre Rotherham, Doncaster College, Sheffield College, Chesterfield College and Northern College.

They’re great ways for your students to gain exposure to and insight about higher education providers, whilst also benefiting now from the skills and experiences these events provide.

There’s always a huge range of stuff going on including on-campus events (e.g. open days or taster days), bespoke events (workshops available on request in schools or on campus), the University of Sheffield’s long-standing Excellence Hub and special events like Sheffield Hallam University’s Science Week. Both pre- and post-16 events are included.

Examples of upcoming events include:

• Sheffield College – Open Evening on March 4^th
• University of Sheffield – SpLD Event for Y11 Pupils and Above March 6th
• Sheffield Hallam University – Science Week from March 8^thto 17^th
• Chesterfield College – Open Evening on March 19^th
• University of Sheffield – Information Event for Support Available to Disabled Students at University April 24th
